We're taking a break

Time to 'labor down' for a little while. The staff wants Amanda to rest for a bit (she has been doing an AWESOME job for the past hour or so). We are getting close, but since they don't want to exhaust Amanda they have her resting on her side to allow the baby to move down naturally.

There will be a shift change at 5pm, so we will have a new midwife, Elaine, coming to help us for the evening. All signs point to a healthy baby, but we still have a little ways to go.

Amanda is in good spirits, though tired and not feeling particularly well. We are both exited and looking forward to see what the Lord will bring this evening. He gives us strength.

Back to work soon...

Don't worry, we went through three shift changes with Will. Luke was a little easier. Cole was almost born in the parking lot. (Really!) We're praying for you. Our bet is on a girl...John and Kim

We're praying for both of you and that new little one who's taking his?/her? good old time in arriving. Love, Pam and Mark
